It can be a little fiddly to get working, but plays well once it's setup. The Phantom Pain- This works very well in HelixVision and is one of our best experiences. HelixVision is strictly PC based, and Sony has never allowed modding on their consoles. Ghost of Tsushima- This doesn't make any sense? The game is a PlayStation exclusive and cannot be run on PC in any form. It would likely be viewable on the big screen, but the 3D will be broken and a poor experience overall. It's still real 3D so don't think it's just a giant flat screen. Also, people misunderstand the 'cinema' concept in HelixVision. Run the Demo version and you will see static 3D screenshots and see exactly what it looks like and how you can tune it.īlack Ops: Cold War- We don't currently have a HelixMod fix for this game. VorpX is easier to use if it has an existing profile for a game, but if you find a game that doesn't work in VorpX then often HelixVision is the only way to play it in 3D or VR. It allows you to play on a giant 3D screen, as big and as close as you want, but it's a 3D cinema style experience. HelixVision does not convert games into full VR experiences. Unlike hardware, they are not mutually exclusive so there is no reason not to run the best one for you. Each has their strengths and weaknesses, and it depends upon the game, and what users prefer. Generally speaking, I personally recommend both.
